Sir, our beloved Prime Minister, Narendra Modi ji has been giving a lot of importance to organic farming. ICAR has developed various types of organic fertilizers. After doing the field trials they are found to be very effective. Sadly, in the meanwhile the prices of potassium sulphate and various other fertilizers have doubled. There is a 12 per cent GST imposed on organic fertilizers. I would request the hon. Minister, through you, Sir, to reduce the GST on organic fertilizers.
